What are Respite Services?
St Catherine’s respite care provides short break overnight stays to children with a moderate to profound intellectual disability allowing children an opportunity to take a break in a home-from-home dedicated setting. Respite care also provides families / carers with a break from full-time caring.
We understand that caring for a loved one with an intellectual disability can be both rewarding and challenging. Our respite services provide families and primary caregivers with much-needed relief. Whether it’s a single night or a few nights, our highly-trained teams will ensure your loved one is safe and well-cared for while you take some time for yourself. During their stay, we offer fun and stimulating activities, promoting social interactions and individual growth.
