Rebecca Egan
Deputy Adult Services ManagerRebecca began her career in 2014 on a work placement as part of an MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis working in one of the ABA classrooms in St. Catherine's Special School, having previously completed a degree in psychology. She became a social care worker role in 2015 and worked in Ballylusk respite house where she was on the management team as deputy PIC. She then joined the behaviour support department as a behaviour support specialist. Following a carerr break, she returned to St. Catherine's in January 2020 and joined the Adult Day Services team. Her current position is Acting Day Service Manager and Rebecca feels lucky that during her career within St. Catherine's that she has been encouraged and supported to achieve goals by securing more challenging and varied roles. Rebecca places a strong emphasis on compassionate care and empowering others, two values that she feels are heavily embedded in the field of social care.
